My Pocket Tutor app for iPhone and iPad

My Pocket Tutor brand is designed to improve the take up of Traineeships and progression on to Apprenticeships.
My Pocket Tutor is a free learner centred App, and will be available through smart phones, tablets and online. The App offers diagnostic tools, learning content and support for the employer.

The focus is to:
- Invest in the quality and productive capacity of staff by developing new online and mobile learning and monitoring tools.
- Give learners/trainees the opportunity to access learning using mobile technology through smart phones and online,
- Make the employer experience more meaningful and productive.

This consortia based project is led by Skills for Growth, and managed by the LWBLA (London’s regional provider network). it is designed to maximise access, good practise and transferability across post-16 education in England. This project is part of the Traineeship Staff Support Programme (TSSP) , commissioned and funded by The Education and Training Foundation.
